A submission for OST composing jam: Crunchtime 4. A short soundtrack for a non-existant videogame following a rebellion's struggle against their industrial overlords (A classic tale).

Track  1 - T H E  U N D E R G R O U N D:

This track was stolen-uh, I mean, heavily inspired by Burial's Untrue. A classic UK dubstep record. In a technological dystopia, underground movements have incorporated old world analog technology into their culture and art. Samples from worn down records remind people of a time of warmth and beauty before the time of cold steel and code.

Track 2  - T H E  M A C H I N E:

Instead of using technology to improve the lives of people, the oligarchy exploits people to improve their machines.  This industrial track uses abrasive saws and static beats to represent the harsh and rigid living conditions in the new world order.

Track 3 - T H E  R I O T:

A protest quickly turns into a riot. This somewhat experimental techno track is intended to imbue the listener with the panic, fear, and anger of those fighting for their freedom.

Track 4 - T H E  A F T E R M A T H:

Birds are chirping as the survivors emerge from the rubble. The sampled violin record from T H E  U N D E R G R O U N D plays. A signal of hope that a better world is possible.
